FLUX Products
HJ420 is a smelting-type flux with high manganese, high silicon and low fluorine content. The ordinary particles have a particle size of 8 - 40 mesh, and the fine particles have a particle size of 18 - 150 mesh. It can be used with both AC and DC power sources. When using DC, DC reverse connection should be adopted. It is easy to remove the slag, has excellent welding process performance, and shows strong resistance to rust and porosity.
FLUX Products - Applications
When matched with welding wires such as H08A, H08MnA and H10Mn2, it can be used to weld low-carbon steel and some low-alloy high-strength steel structures such as Q345 and Q390 (15MnV). Typical applications include boilers, shipbuilding, pressure vessels and pipelines. The fine-particle flux paired with fine welding wires is suitable for single-pass high-speed welding of thin plates.
