HJ230 is a smelting-type flux with low manganese, high silicon and low fluorine. It consists of cyan-gray glassy particles with a particle size ranging from 2.5 to 0.45 mm (8 - 40 mesh). It can be used with both alternating current and direct current. When using direct current for welding, the welding wire should be connected to the positive electrode. It has good welding process performance and can form beautiful welds.

FLUX Products - Applications

It is used in combination with welding wires such as H08MnA, H10Mn2 and certain low-alloy steel welding wires to weld structures made of low-carbon steel and certain low-alloy steels (such as 16Mn).
