Flux-Cored Welding Wire - Feature
- XHC-56 is a flux-cored wire with excellent abrasive wear resistance and moderate impact wear resistance.
- The weld bead has a smooth appearance after welding; it is recommended that the number of repair welding layers not exceed three.

Flux-Cored Welding Wire - Applications
- Used for hardfacing and repair welding of new or reconditioned workpieces made of carbon steel, low-alloy steel and manganese steel.
- Suitable applications include hardfacing of middle troughs, shaft sleeves, cement mixers, dredging cutters or cutting edge top surfaces, bulldozer blades, and many other workpieces.
Flux-Cored Welding Wire - Precautions
- When repairing high-carbon steel or alloy steel workpieces, as well as those with excessive surface curvature, excessive thickness or complex shapes, high internal stress is likely to occur in the weld bead after welding, leading to cracking.
- Therefore, relatively high preheating temperature and interpass temperature (150~250°C) are required.
- The cooling rate between passes and after welding shall not be too fast.
- Once the weld bead reaches 6 mm in thickness, stress-relief annealing at 420~480°C shall be applied immediately.
- The deposited metal shall not be processed by flame cutting or machining.
- If the weld bead needs to be leveled, grinding is recommended.
