AWS ER70S-6 Welding Wire - Features
- ER70S-6 MIG wire provides excellent spatter control and enhanced weld channel profile.
- Excellent rust and oxide skin resistance, excellent wetting quality and high fluidity of the weld pool.
- The wire consisting of manganese and silicon has the highest deposition strength compared to all other carbon steel MIG wires.
- The wire includes good washout resistance at the weld toe and flat welding beads reducing defects, scrap and rework.
- This product is the general MAG / CO2 welding wire and suitable for all-position welding. welding wire is ideal for welding on metals with moderate to high presence of dirt, rust or oxide and can be used as industrial, agricultural, construction and mining equipment.
- Wire is well suited for single-pass welding in sheet metal applications, multi-pass welding of thick sections, all-position welding, butt and fillet welding of thin plates and sheets of various thicknesses, and general carbon steel construction.
- The wire has stable arc at low currents , less sparks and splashing, and adapt to larger current range.
- The wire complies with AWS 5.18 and is also well suited for automotive repair and HVAC ductwork.
