 一九九一年与香港社团服务中心、河北工业大学联合创建了沧州东港焊接材料有限公司，开发研制生产了高防锈CO 2气保焊丝、埋弧焊丝、不锈钢焊丝、药芯焊丝，荣获河北省科技进步一等奖，河北省优秀新产品二等奖，被评为河北消费者信得过产品，并通过CCS中国船级社认证、ISO9001国际质量体系认证，成为中国焊接协会会员单位。2000年企业改制为河北鑫宇焊业有限公司。
